News: Bielefeld Young Researchers' Funds ("Bielefelder Nachwuchsfonds")

Supporting young researchers is one of the most important strategic goals of the Rectorate. In 2011 Bielefeld University will again provide funding to support research undertaken by young researchers. The previous Research and Innovation Funds have been strategically developed. You can find the terms and conditions for applying for funding from the new ?Bielefelder Young Researchers Funds? here. A significant increase in the funding available is planned. The deadline for applying for funding for the first round of funding in 2011 is 15. October 2010.

Doctoral scholarships provided by the Rectorate:

The Rectorate provides funding for a limited number of doctoral candidates. It is possible to apply for either a standard scholarship or a writing up scholarship. The deadline for applications for funding in 2011 is: 15. October 2010. More information is available here.
