The majority of courses and workshops are open to all young researchers regardless of their form of finance and their chosen manner of qualification. Hence, most courses are aimed at doctoral candidates who are pursuing their research in structured programmes as well as those who are doing their research in the framework of the traditional free doctorate; courses can be attended by both doctoral candidates and postdoctoral young researchers employed at Bielefeld University as well as those financed by scholarships or private means.
