Supporting young researchers is one of the most important strategic goals of the Rectorate. In 2011 Bielefeld University will again provide funding to support research undertaken by young researchers. The previous Research and Innovation Funds have been strategically developed. The new Bielefelder Young Researchers Funds consist of two funding rounds. The first round is now completed. The second round will be issued in spring-time 2011.
